Brandhout VS Suuz van de Vaart

A good friend of mine, Rogier Berben, is the creative mind behind the brand Brandhout. With Brandhout he creates furniture from used drum-material. We decided to combine our forces and the result is shown below. The overal design of the table is a typical Brandhout design, the black snake-scale looking details are made by me.

The Drawing Gang

This project was a challenge for 11 artists to come together and create a big drawing which would cover 60 meters in length and would be 3 meters high! Each artist got a piece available of about 3 by 3 meters... with as only request: to make a huge black/white drawing that would flow over in the drawing of your neighbour.

MATCH

MATCH is a multidisciplinair artproject. Artists are challenged to open up to other authors, to dialogue with each other, to develop new points of view and result in new works of art. On 29 March, a matchmaking evening was organized for ten artists who have indicated to enter the adventure. They are selected by artist and curator Lisetteh. After this evening five couples are formed and followed for three months. Their cooperation and the process of the development and production of the artwork is in film recorded by Sarge Meulman and Lisetteh, these documentaries are shown besides the presentations of the work in TAC Eindhoven, Electron in Breda and in the Melkfabriek in 's-Hertogenbosch.
